O complexo panorama de co\u2010exist\u00eancia de media em que vivemos, com quantidades in\u00e9ditas de dados, provenientes de um n\u00famero in\u00e9dito de origens, e assumindo um n\u00famero in\u00e9dito de formas, configura novos desafios para a concep\u00e7\u00e3o de estrat\u00e9gias de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o que assentem em m\u00faltiplos media. A crescente hibrida\u00e7\u00e3o dos formatos de media exige novas perspectivas projectuais concebidas para tirar partido desse estado transit\u00f3rio da informa\u00e7\u00e3o. Nesta disserta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 investigado o conceito de transmedia\u00e7\u00e3o e a sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o no \u00e2mbito do design de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, como um processo promotor de literacia medi\u00e1tica, indutor de criatividade e catalisador de novas linguagens e solu\u00e7\u00f5es de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o em contexto digital.<br \/>\n<strong>Palavras-\u00adchave:<\/strong> Transmedia\u00e7\u00e3o, Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, Design, Digital, Processo.<br \/>\n\u2014<br \/>\n<strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><br \/>\nFollowing the conversion from industrial societies to information societies, communication assumed a fundamental role in shaping civilizational behaviors. The complex panorama of media co\u2010existence in which we live, with countless amounts of data, from countless origins, and assuming countless formats, presents new challenges when designing communication strategies that rely in multiple media. The growing hibridisation of media formats demands for new projectual perspectives conceived to harness this transitory state of information.
