Neste \u00e2mbito, a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o debru\u00e7a-se sobre o estudo da m\u00fasica pop enquanto forma de express\u00e3o art\u00edstica audiovisual. Examinam-se os produtos e estrat\u00e9gias usados actualmente na sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o e dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o, atendendo \u00e0s possibilidades dos media digitais e procurando evidenciar o tipo de envolvimento do p\u00fablico que promovem. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7a por proporcionar uma compreens\u00e3o da m\u00fasica pop enquanto fen\u00f3meno simultaneamente sonoro e imag\u00e9tico, atrav\u00e9s de um enquadramento te\u00f3rico que tra\u00e7a a sua express\u00e3o audiovisual ao longo do s\u00e9culo XX at\u00e9 ao contexto contempor\u00e2neo.<br \/>\nNa sequ\u00eancia deste contexto hist\u00f3rico, proporciona-se uma vis\u00e3o dos desdobramentos contempor\u00e2neos da m\u00fasica pop, atrav\u00e9s da an\u00e1lise de diferentes produtos e estrat\u00e9gias utilizadas na sua veicula\u00e7\u00e3o. De acordo com esta an\u00e1lise, o estudo foca-se em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es interactivas para dispositivos m\u00f3veis (<i>apps<\/i>) enquanto forma emergente de veicula\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00fasica pop, contemplando o papel do p\u00fablico. Para tal, re\u00fanem-se instrumentos te\u00f3ricos que possibilitam uma an\u00e1lise das tipologias e funcionalidades das <i>apps<\/i>, bem como dos pap\u00e9is interpretativo, explorat\u00f3rio e configurativo do p\u00fablico.<br \/>\nOs resultados deste estudo sugerem que as formas emergentes de veicula\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00fasica pop, como as <i>apps<\/i>, refor\u00e7am uma concep\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00fasica pop enquanto fen\u00f3meno audiovisual, potenciando a constru\u00e7\u00e3o simult\u00e2nea das suas dimens\u00f5es sonoras e imag\u00e9ticas. Revelam igualmente como o envolvimento activo do p\u00fablico \u00e9 promovido ao fomentar uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o continuada entre o utilizador e a edi\u00e7\u00e3o musical. Com esta an\u00e1lise, procurou-se contribuir para uma compreens\u00e3o da m\u00fasica pop enquanto projecto total, cujos desdobramentos exemplificam uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o permanente entre som e imagem, entre media \u00e1udio e visuais, e entre formas de express\u00e3o art\u00edstica na cultura pop contempor\u00e2nea.<br \/>\n<b>Palavras-chave: <\/b><i>m\u00fasica pop, audiovisualidade, media digitais, aplica\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00f3veis.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>ABSTRACT<\/b><br \/>\nThis work aims to identify emerging strategies for conveying pop music in the contemporary context. In this scope, the research focuses on the study of pop music as an audiovisual form of artistic expression. It examines the products and strategies that are currently used in its production and dissemination, taking into account the possibilities of digital media and seeking to reveal the kind of involvement they promote on the part of the public. The research begins by providing an understanding of pop music as a simultaneously sonorous and imagetic phenomenon, through a theoretical framework that traces its audiovisual expression throughout the twentieth century until the contemporary context. Following this historical context, it provides a vision of contemporary developments of pop music, through an analysis of different products and strategies used in its dissemination. According to this analysis, the study focuses on interactive mobile applications (apps) as an emergent form of pop music publication and dissemination, while contemplating the role of the public. To do this, we gather theoretical tools that enable an analysis of the apps\u2019 typology and functionality, as well as the interpretive, exploratory and configurative roles of the public.<br \/>\nThe results of this study suggest that the emerging forms of pop music dissemination, such as apps, reinforce a conception of pop music as an audiovisual phenomenon, enhancing the simultaneous construction of both its sound and image dimensions. They also reveal how the active involvement of the public is promoted by fostering an ongoing relationship between the user and the musical edition. With this analysis, we sought to contribute to an understanding of pop music as a total project, whose contemporary developments exemplify a permanent connection between sound and image, between audio and visual media, and between artistic forms of expression in contemporary pop culture.<br \/>\n<b>Keywords: <\/b><i>pop music, audiovisuality, digital media, mobile applications.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vasco Morgado \/ Orient.
